Unexpected Pregnancy
My rabbit Lucy was bred with my other guy rabbit. It was her second litter and she had 7 adorable little bunnies. After those bunnies were grown and gone about a month later she gave birth again to 7 more babies we had not expected. Since we had taken the nest box out she gave birth in a medium sized food bowl! The babies were all healthy and later got new homes but to this day we are not sure how she got pregnant again when the bunnies have completely separate cages. Do you have any idea what might have happened?
