Not from pregnancy per se
by: Karen

Rabbits thump their hind feet to warn other rabbits of danger nearby.

Pregnant rabbits don't necessarily thump more as a result of pregnancy. But a pregnant rabbit might feel more stress at disruptions in her environment. She might feel more threatened by the little things, and therefore thump more from anxiety.

Lastly, since this seems to be a personality thing more than a pregnancy symptom, we think that some herds, bloodlines and individual rabbits would be more prone to thump their hind feet a lot during pregnancy than others.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
