Lops of Love is a rabbitry located in Isanti, Minnesota. They breed Holland Lops for pets, show, and breeder stock. 

Because of the variety of underlying color genes in the breeding stock at Lops of Love, it is fun, rewarding, and enjoyable to see what colors show up in the nest boxes! Out of their seven breeding does paired with the three breeding bucks, the litters frequently contain a variety of colors, from the standards to tri-color, harlequin and other patterns and varieties.

History of Lops of Love Rabbitry

Here is the history of Lops of Love Rabbitry, in the words of Crystal, owner and nurturer of Lops of Love Rabbitry: 

"My husband and I started our rabbitry with our daughter Katelyn in 2011 when she was in 4H.

"We all love having bunnies to cuddle, so we started bringing friends over to play with them as a form of therapy. When my daughter got older and moved out I did not want to stop playing with the rabbits.  I had grown to love all my bunnies so my husband and I started doing it together.

"We love to hang out and play with them all. We also love to see what colors our moms and dads produce. Our daughter still comes over to play with the bunnies. And now our grandchildren are coming over to play with them.

"With our experience we strive to raise very lovable bunnies!"

Lops of Love Breeder Bucks

Lops of Love Rabbitry is currently using THREE sire bucks:

#1, Broken Tri-Colored Buck.

• #2 above: Blue buck. The buck is a solid blue-gray, from top to bottom.

Purchasing a Beautiful Lops of Love Bunny

In some ways the Holland Lop rabbits at Lops of Love may be considered a notch above other similar rabbits, especially as pet rabbits. It is not necessarily that the rabbits themselves are better exactly. We know lots of Holland Lop breeders; no one has documented to Raising-Rabbits the amount of love and attention their bunnies receive on a daily basis like Crystal at Lops of Love has done.

All that love and attention makes for the development of superlative pets. Additionally, their personalities lend themselves to becoming therapy rabbits. Owner Crystal and her husband have been keen to enhance these traits for your benefit. 

Some available bunnies are not pedigreed, but most DO have a pedigree. 

Some Lops of Love bunnies are also show-quality. That, combined with well handled and great personalities, will make show day at the local rabbit show or fair a wonderful experience.

But whether they are pet- or show-quality, each bunny is so stinking cute.

Because their bunnies are hand-raised, they will already be friendly. You may find they will enjoy being held. Before you collect your bunny, they are already nearly or all the way potty trained and used to being around other animals and loud noises. They will already be good with little children, because they get lots of human interaction and holding. Crystal and husband are frequently playing with and holding the bunnies.

Available Adult Holland Lop Rabbits...

Adult Rabbits Available: Lops of Love sometimes have adult rabbits needing new homes if they have rescued a rabbit, or if a certain rabbit no longer has space in the Lops of Love Rabbitry. 

"We want all of our rabbits to feel happy and not overwhelmed."

Breeding Pairs or trios: Pairs or trios are occasionally available. Please do reach out to Lops of Love if you are interested in acquiring a pair or trio (one buck, two does) of breeding adults.

Pricing

• Bunny Adoption Fee: $150 each.
• Hold your chosen bunny with a 50% deposit ($75). 
• Each bunny comes with a starter bag of feed, hay and some treats. 
• Rabbits also come with a Birth Certificate, or Pedigree, if available, for a fee. 
• No-Shows will forfeit both the deposit and the rabbit.

You could tell they took good care of the bunny and I also have to say her husband was also very informative. When talking to them I found out this rabbitry is a family hobby.
