We will refund your purchase as store credit so that it is immediately available for use. You will purchase the item again with your store credit and add the insurance. The insurance covers any damage to the product, including spoilage, that occurs during shipping.

We use UPS to ship our meat orders, which comes with only $50 of insurance. Their insurance does not cover frozen items. If your order was lost, damaged, stolen, or spoiled during shipment, the best UPS will do for you is $50, which is only a fraction of the cost of the order.
ROUTEINS shipping insurance for orders covers the full purchase price of the order, which includes the price of the insurance itself. If you purchased extra insulation and gel packs with your order, then that cost will be covered also.
