Pregnant rabbit built her nest

Hi my rabbit is pregnant and built nest 3 days ago. When do you reckon they will be due?

Hmmm, hard to say, 'thout knowing the exact date of breeding. Have you any idea when that was? Mothering hormones 'speak' to different does with different timings. Your doe could deliver tonight, or she could wait another 10 days.

The best way to know is to record the date of breeding and then count forward 31-32 days. That is when 99% of does kindle, though some does wait considerably longer.

Your best bet...just be patient, and ensure your doe has all she needs for giving birth to her kits, whenever it happens. By the sound of it, you're pretty much set!

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out, okay?

If you kept track of the date your doe was bred, she should have them by the 31st-35th day (as I have found with my New Zealands of course...) But I would wait about 7-10 days. If she has not had her litter in about 7-10 days, there might be something wrong. Let us know how it turns out!
