Is it ok to butcher and eat rabbits with symptoms of snuffles? (no antibiotics)

I wrote you yesterday about if humans could get this from moving and clean the barn where the infected animals are and you said in 30 yrs you have never heard of anyone getting it unless your immune system is crippled well if I had cancer or hepatitis or hiv then what would you do.

I can quote to you what the research states, and I can give you my personal experience, but I'd probably be stepping outside my area of expertise to make a medical statement about probability of you (or anyone else) getting sick with Pasteurellosis. But you can certainly do your own research and see what you think, or better yet, address your excellent questions to your physician.

Can humans get this disease from the animals while cleaning the pens and the feeders and equipment?

Technically, yes.

Practically, highly unlikely, unless your immune system is literally crippled or you are extremely debilitated in health.

In 30 years, I have heard of no one that has contracted pasteurella from their rabbits.

Don't forget - various pasteurella species (including P. multocida) are endemic among other animal populations, including dogs, and we humans seem to do okay.
