New Zealand Red Rabbits

SDR Portlock's Wildfire

I raise New Zealand Reds. They are a very nice breed to own or raise. New Zealands in general have a very nice, even temper. They are calm and gentle, and great around kids. There are 4 varieties or colors of New Zealands. They are White, Black, Red, and Broken, which is like black and white or red and white. I just happen to raise the Red variety.

Wildfire, one of my senior bucks, has won 9 BOBs or Best of Breeds in a row. He has also won an ARBA (championship) Leg, which is an award for getting first place out of 5 other rabbits and 3 other breeders. There is not a lot of competition for New Zealands in my area. Although, the competition I do have is pretty tough. There are some pretty good rabbits I compete against.
