My Bunny Oreo

by Reni
(Ford)

Hello my name is Reni I have just started raising my very first bunny named Iolona but I like to call her Oreo. Oreo is due for her very first kindling on the 23 of May 2011. As soon as her babies are safely delivered and sold I will start leash training her and then I'll work my way up to finally show jumping her.

Oreo is a Netherland Dwarf pure breed rabbit with excellent bloodlines and a good pedigree. She is the sweetest bunny you can find and she has amazing broken blue coloring. I plan on selling her babies and continue breeding her to make a profit to fund my shows.

Netherlands are one of the rarest breeds you can find - that makes them very expensive ranging anywhere from $60 to $160. Oreo is 3 years old and counting she is very playful and loves toilet paper rolls. She tosses them around her cage and her favorite thing to do with them is dunk them in her water bowl.

To those who have/want if you have a rabbit have fun with it. If you don't have one don't give up hope. Just keep looking for the right rabbit you will find one sometime. Just look at me - I'm only 16 and I found the perfect one she's right here in my lap MY OREO!!!

Thanks Reni!
For the record, Netherlands are the smallest breed, but not hardly rare. Show quality Netherlands can indeed be fairly pricy. We wish you the best in your endeavors.
