MAGIC RABBIT!!!

by Emily
(England)

One morning I woke up, went down stairs, went to my rabbit's hutch and there were 2 babies! So quickly my dad and I put the male in a different hutch. After a few weeks the babies have really grown and I can now hold them, but one morning I found another nest in there and 3 more babies!!!! She was never with the male since, it was a second coming!

ROFL! Though there really is an all-natural explanation. This is exactly what happens in a wild rabbit population - the buck and the doe re-breed within a day or so of kindling. Guess you and your dad were just a few minutes too late in separating out the bunnies' sire, heheh!

And in the wild, that first litter is weaned and on their own by day 28. Guess perhaps you're in the market for another hutch?? (Still laughing!)

Enjoy your bunnies...
