Hi there, I recently brought what I thought to be two female bunnies I was told they were ten weeks old when I picked them up and I have had them five weeks tomorrow. Only now one of my bunnies has a very large tummy, could this be anything else??? Or is she pregnant? And if she is it is with her brother!!!

omg what a disaster these are my first ever bunnies and although I would be overjoyed to be a first time bunny mum I am a bit scared as I am only just learning all about raising my babies. They seem like babies still so how or is this possible?? I have to admit I am a little excited but would like to know if there could be anything else wrong with my bunny any advice given would be very much appreciated xxxxxx

Go to www.raising-rabbits.com/sexing-rabbits.html and follow the directions there. This will help you determine if both rabbits are females, or if you indeed have a litter on the way. Yes, a pregnancy is definitely possible, but not if both are females.

Raising-Rabbits.com is chock full of information about raising and breeding rabbits. If you're about to become a bunny mum (won't be the first time sibling bunnies bred together, and it is likely not the end of the bunny-world), take your time, do your bunny homework, and educate yourself the easy way (online) on how to take care of everything. You can start at the Breeding Rabbits tab in the navigation bar at the left.

Good luck and enjoy!
