Flaky skin

My domestic rabbit (1 year old) has dry flaky skin. Any idea what could be causing it? How to treat it? He is not in a hutch all day, he has a large area to run, but is put up at night. Help please???!!!

My best guess is fur mites or fleas, but if you want a positive diagnosis, you'll need to consult your rabbit-savvy vet.

Fleas and fur mites can both be treated with kitten flea powder. Get more info at https://www.raising-rabbits.com/fur-mites-in-rabbits.html.
